Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^

Hi everyone! Long time no see , so lately i've been pretty busy just trying to make ends meet and trying even harder to get out there to do what i love.

Life:So recently I got a new job at Starbucks by the airport so come visit me , reason for going back to a coffee based job was because i loved and missed the interaction with people on a personal level, my first real job was Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Salt Lake, and i always say that was the best experience of my life, everyone who is still there even the new employees i consider apart of my 2nd family, thats just how we were, but, sadly at the time we had just opened or atleast began opening in Hawaii so the benefits etc. werent as good as they are now, anyway im super excited .

Photography: I'll be shooting at the APEX 2011 event at the Boys and Girls club near Washington Intermediate near the end of the month, it's gonna be packed with BBoys, Emcee Battles, Carshows, Low Riders, Musicians, Food, Live Art by Local Artist B3@K etc. so come down and join us On June 25TH their should be flyers or go to Sera's Surf Shack and pick up some tickets i'm really stoked for this .

Graphics and Designing: i've made a few Club flyer for a friend's upcoming Music and Poetry event, so i've been really buried into that and having tons of fun with it so if your Free and 18+ Come join us @4Play in Aiea on June 23RD.

Things I Miss: I've been busy lately with everything that I havent really had time to go out and take some amazing pictures that i usually do, although i always put my best efforts into everything i feel like i'm letting the world pass me by and i'm not there to capture these moments as much as i use to, it's a real downer.. I hope soon that I'll have more people to work with and gain more time to bring everyone some new and awesome Deviations
