i wanted to stand on this pipe but.... eah my cameras more important haha

The pipe is the first thing that really grabs my attention. The beautiful spiral shape is reminiscent of a seashell; fitting as we're on a beach

Secondly, it's so dark compared to the more muted tones of the water and sky, giving it a little extra pop. I'm glad you didn't stand on it to take the shot - the shot is much better with its inclusion, and much more original than another sky and water shot.

That said, I like the nice even divide between the sky and the rest of the picture, as well as the vertical orientation. The pipe is further emphasized as the center of attention this way. The small details such as the eddies and ripples in the water just ice the cake
